After the wildly successful debut of Sander van Doorn's "Dusk Till Doorn" compilation album last year, the time has come to reveal that the second installment of the series and brand new tour is nearly upon us! In light of the new album release, a three day tour will take place in the UK.
The Dusk Till Doorn 2011 tour kick-off - boasting a completely newly developed live show - will have it's inaugural event on May 27th in Ministry Of Sound's The Gallery in London. Followed by Godskitchen in Birmingham on the 28th and Gatecrasher in Nottingham the 29th of May. It is quite possible that your Dusk Till Doorn experience will go down as the best night of clubbing you've ever had!
Sander starts the album off with an infectious, housey groove that immediately transports you straight to the dance floor. Uplifting melodies and progressive rhythms continue to build up in disc one, delivering chart topping anthems and summer techy grooves that will have you pining for the white isle of Ibiza! Continuing to ramp up the energy with disc two, Sander begins the musical transition to peak hour, mainstage trance. Big room sounds, beautiful vocals, and the pumping kick of a bass drum that will not only deliver you to the promised land, it will have you wearing the shine off your repeat button!
The double album is a who's who of dance music today, featuring tracks from Afrojack, Marco V, Bingo Players, Tiesto, Fedde le Grand, Ferry Corsten and of course Sander himself (yes, his new one 'Koko' is included!) Also prominently represented are his Doorn Records label mates; Ali Wilson and Matt Smallwood, Jacob Van Hage, and Ummet Ozcan to name just a few.
With the album, Sander has seamlessly harnessed the exhilaration of his Dusk Till Doorn nights into a perfectly portable mobile version. Take it home and put on your dancing shoes because this album transforms into a full on DTD night as soon as you press play!
