Lounge music is an invention of the 50s and 60s. Mood music, the dream of a pleasant luxury place. This Music was played in hotel lobbies, airport restaurants or Casios and sought a balance between popular jazz and "light music" of the '20s. The Casino Royal are dedicated to this origin of lounge music.
On their second album, they conjure out of a hat wonderfull light songwriting with orchestral drive, mediterranean grooves, soft acoustic guitarriffs and rainbow-colored melodies. A catchy soundtrack from the 60s James Bond, and a red convertible and 70s Disco Rimini Adriatic.
