內容簡介

My name, my name is Pirulin Without Words I have a bike without wheels and pockets without coins so many places to go, but no school and no street only fields and grass and wheat. Pirulin is eight years old, not much money and two grandparents a little bit deaf. He sleeps and dreams the whole day, he is always silent while everybody around speak in an unknown language. But... in order to speak with clouds and glow worms you don’t need any words. It’s easy, you can imagine a whole world, just for you: a sunbeam made of cream, in the orchard three lemon trees and a fig, prickly pears on the cotton and a gossiping goose. Pirulin, why are you so silent? Are you maybe sad, maybe alone? I have the answer! You found a language that others don’t understand, a world where you don’t need the voice... I have almost everything I need, but just one thing I can say, just one thing I need to reach. Getting myself a few words of speech. Davide Longo is writer, documentary film maker and teacher. His novels Un mattino a Irgalem (Grinzane Opera Prima Prize 2001 and Via Po Prize) and Il Mangiatore di pietre (Città di Bergamo Prize and Viadana Prize 2004) have been published by Marcos y Marcos. This is his third tale published by Corraini, after La vita a un tratto (2006) and Lettera prima (2007). Chiara Carrer is one of the most renowned Italian illustrators. She published several illustrated children’s books, and received important awards such as the Unicef Prize (1995), the Premio Battello a Vapore of the city of Verbania (1995),the Andersen Prize (1999), the Bologna Children’s Book Award (2000) and the Golden Apple at the Biennale of Bratislava (2003). She collaborates with libraries and schools, she organizes painting, engraving and illustration workshops. Her works are on display in museums in Italy, Japan, Czech Republic and Brazil.
