佛羅里達大學美國黑人史助理教授。他是得獎著作The Black Campus Movement的作者,在進入學術圈之前曾經擔任記者的工作。是一位公共演說家,為各種出版刊物,如:《高等教育紀事報》、《哈芬頓郵報》...等撰寫評論。
